Overview
Medical’s devices help Laryngeal Cancer patients rehabilitate and live “new-normal” lives post-surgery. Atos realised that there was no single, centralised, patient-focused online source for patients and their families to discover relevant information about the typical cancer treatment pathway ahead of them.
So they commissioned Islandmonkey to create a series of 5 animations describing the journey, from early symptoms, through to surgery, recovery and then life after surgery. These were then incorporated into a new standalone website – The Laryngectomy Site (www.laryngectomy.info) which won Gold at The Digital Communication Awards in 2022.
The animations are available in 6 languages. The example here is the 2nd in the series. Atos medical are based in Lund, Sweden.
